Pointing a camera at fast things

What this is

The shot starts long before the shutter

The Full Send Photo Co. mark set inside a camera lens

At a live event, you rarely know exactly what is coming next, when it will arrive or where the best moment will happen. Schedules change, equipment breaks and the action rarely unfolds exactly as planned. Before taking a single picture, you have to study the event, understand the access, follow the light, choose a location and anticipate where the shot might happen. Then, after all that planning, the subject enters the frame and gives you a moment to get it right.

By the time the camera matters, most of the important decisions have already been made.

That uncertainty is the whole appeal.

Full Send Photo Co. is where I document off-road racing, motocross, drag racing, road racing, aviation and the events surrounding them. Each one presents a different challenge, but they all require preparation, timing and the ability to capture something that rarely gives you another chance.

This website is the more intentional side of that process. Each gallery is organized by event so drivers, teams and fans can find the photographs that matter to them without digging through all the random shit I post on Instagram.

I do my best to identify each class, vehicle, driver and team using published entry lists and any visible race numbers. Rosters change, vehicles may have multiple drivers and it is not always possible to confirm who was behind the wheel in a specific photograph. Unless the driver can be verified, captions identify the entry rather than the individual.

There is a lot to keep track of, so please confirm the details before relying on them. If I got something wrong, send me the correct information and I will fix it.

Behind it

One person, too much camera gear and no business plan

Full Send Photo Co. is a hobby taken seriously without pretending it is something it is not. There are no packages, pricing or bookings here. This is simply a record of learning how to photograph difficult subjects and sharing the results as they happen.

If you competed at an event I photographed and I captured something you want, send me a DM on Instagram. The full resolution photograph is yours.

No watermark. No invoice. No bullshit.
